The Vine Garden Multi Housing Project

Phase 1: Transforming the Foundation
(Lot Cleanup & Site Preparation)

The restoration of Vine Street begins from the ground up.

Phase 1 of our Dignity Homes land development strategy centers on comprehensive lot cleanup and essential site remediation to prepare this space for our future low-barrier, second-chance housing units. “The Vine Garden Project”.

Our immediate focus involves clearing overgrown vegetation, removing debris, leveling the terrain, and securing the perimeter to eliminate local blight and transform a vacant lot into a safe, dignified, and production-ready construction environment.

By actively engaging our community workforce of local volunteers for this launch phase, we are not just clearing physical ground—we are laying the visible, foundational infrastructure of hope, safety, and community revitalization directly into the heart of Muncie.”

PROJECT TWO

The Transitional Housing Project

This Project will be in the Whitely Neighborhood on our very own land purchased this year!

Real Low Barrier Solutions from an Experienced Evangelistic Outreach Minister
Kathy and Joseph plan on Building a Large Property with many rooms in order to have a home ran by love.
Our Home can serve both transitional and re-entry

People who have Felonies struggle to find housing as well as Couples dealing with evictions. The need for re-entry and transitional housing is beyond anyone’s imagination. In Delaware County alone evictions are at a very high rate and affordable housing will not take folks with recent evictions. Most folks will tell you it takes 3 to 7 years for most property management companies to consider you.

The Second Change Housing Model

We will have affordable options with low barrier to entry for qualifying individuals and families. Our model will look at the individuals ability to hold an income and not their past mistakes. Second Change Housing will offer a transitional period to re-entry personal if approved. This is needed to give someone released from prison time to get a Job. usally 2 to 4 weeks provided a employer is willing to hire the re-entry. This Project will require an investment to handle to many phases to the project.
