OUR MISSION:
As a local public charity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ while reaching the local communities of East Central Indiana with humanitarian needs.
Muncie is ground zero and the amount of hardship and poverty is high. Our Mission includes ending hunger, providing emergency shelter and low barrier housing to those who need it. Our goal is group homes, transitional housing as well as food delivery to the shut ins. No one should be hungry. No one should be unhoused.
The Shepherds Heart and Hands is committed to workforce diversity, creating equity across

Being an community resource organization that will foster relationships with the local’s as well as co-agency cooperations to all types of help agencies, non-profits and addiction programs.
Individuals suffering from life controlling problems, emotional damage, wounded spirits, and those homelessness or near, are able to get the help needed in order to reach the NEXT STEP in their life challenges to better themselves on the road to healthy life styles that foster self esteem, and community for all of God’s children.
We understand that lives did not become a mess overnight and our mission includes taking time with the community to foster love, unity and a fellowship that all can come and help those who need. extra encouragement, and helps that foster dignity, while strengthening self sufficiency, and life applications that empower the weak to feel strong.
Mobile Outreaches
Each week we take to the city and visit our community and take much needed supplies. Visiting Homeless Camps and Unhoused individuals all over Muncie Indiana, and the surrounding areas.
Once we find them, that is where the real work begins by providing food, supplies, and a evaluation of their current situation and formulating a “next step” towards re-entry to community.
We provide agency referrals, Job assistance, and training to overcome life challenges that is all available at no cost. Our Staff knows that challenges await them as each person is a individual case and with special circumstances.
