Our Urban Missions work in the community,

Food Rescue
Each Day we take to the city and visit our community and rescue food that would otherwise go into the trash. This Food Rescue is a vital part of our Food Outreaches, Mobil Pantry, and Homeless Camps feedings and Unhoused individuals all over Muncie Indiana, and surrounding areas.
We are grateful to Partnerships with friends like Ball State University Dining where each day we can pick up food that can now help feed America and end hunger. Plus the many others who bring us Food to add to over 120,000. pounds of food annually to feed Muncie and Delaware County.
We provide food pantry referrals to many who have the ability to travel and pick up food.
Community Outreach
Being an community resource organization fostering relationships with local’s as well as corporations to all types including non-profits and co-agency programs.
Individuals suffering from life controlling problems, and in danger of homelessness, are able to get the help needed in order to reach the NEXT STEPS in their life to better help themselves on the road to a healthy life.
We understand that lives did not become a mess overnight and our mission includes taking time with individuals to foster love, encouragement, and helps them live with dignity, while strengthening self sufficiency.

Mobile Outreaches
Each week we take to the city and visit our community and take much needed supplies. Visiting Homeless Camps and Unhoused individuals all over Muncie Indiana, and surrounding areas.
Once we find them, that is where the real work begins by providing food, supplies, and a evaluation of their current situation, formulating a “next step” towards re-entry into the community.
We provide agency referrals, Job assistance, and help to overcome life challenges that is all available at no cost.
